Fire Alarm Design Trainee

Job Description:

This is for an Alarm and Detection Designer The individual will work with blue prints, draw floor plan requirements for fire alarm systems to insure compliance, the layout of fire alarm systems, perform voltage drop/ battery calculations, field surveys, part listings and provide field labor support.  

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s degree in autoCAD from an accredited college or university.  In addition, the individual must have good organizational skills, excellent PC skills, and previous CAD experience.  Familiarity with ACAD 2004 is a plus. Candidate must be well versed in Microsoft Office, and be able to thrive in a high pressure, constantly changing, often chaotic diverse environment.
