Position Description:

This summer 2014 Semester, we are offering an internship in Safety.  S.A. Comunale is committed to offering an exciting, hands-on opportunity to a select student to assist the Safety Manager in promoting our safety program by conducting construction site safety audits, assisting with safety training initiatives, investigating and responding to employee inquiries, conducting routine inspections of the Fabrication Shop, and assisting the Safety Manager with workers’ compensation claims.

This internship will be 40 hours per week for a period of 12 weeks at our Corporate Office in Barberton, Ohio.  This internship will be paid.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must be 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled in a college or university, majoring in Safety Management or a related field.  In addition, the individual must possess good organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, superior computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
