Job Description

SUMMARY

The primary function of this role is to manage all aspects of the full-service fire protection Branch Office operations, including Service and Inspection functions and personnel management.  The Company goal is to continuously grow branch revenues while maintaining profits, satisfying customers’ requirements and staying compliant with NFPA guidelines. 

This job requires a high energy level with a focus towards sales, prospecting for new clients, personnel management, budget management, project management, and customer service.  This position is responsible for combined revenues budgeted at $7.4 million.  It will require travel to the Corporate Office and potential/existing customer sites.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete profit and loss responsibility for the Branch Office.
  • Oversee all sales functions within the Branch Office.
  • Coordinate Service and Inspection functions.
  • Maintain customer relationships and cultivate new opportunities.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Responsible for the sales budget.
  • Responsible for managing, training, and coaching all Branch Office personnel.
  • Perform employee evaluations to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary development and training programs.
  • Respond timely and accurately to requests for information from others in the organization.
  • Responsible for all other aspects of branch operations.

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the activities and performance of numerous direct reports.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of eight years experience in fire protection with a proven successful record of accomplishment. Must be familiar with all industry standards, have a strong business sales management background, and project management experience.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications.
